Schnitz: Tea Tree Plaza

The founders of the Schnitz brand wanted to rebrand the look and feel aesthetic from the Bavarian Beer Hall recycled interior look to a more traditional look showing the family roots and history namely Poland. The traditional Polish influence was to display a front of house prep area as in a domestic set up, whereby all can see activity taking place resulting in the thought that the customer would feel they were eating in a traditional Polish house when they came to Schnitz.

The experience and personal theatre of a home cooked meal would become front of mind and the go home experience. Various materials such as patterned tiles, timber flooring, terracotta wall panelling, textured brick, spotted gum timbers and large scale feature dining pendants were used in a very contemporary yet traditional polish manner that evokes feeling of “at home”.
