Nando’s Willetton

The design concept hinged on relocating the front entrance and making a statement to the boulevard and the front façade of the building.

Weathered timbers and a rust projecting vertical bulkhead together with red Nando’s detail were used to create a striking façade.

The relatively low ceiling height was a challenge in that the envelope needed to be neutral and light to expand the space and reduce any heavy effect.

Splashes of African vibrant colour were introduced through Paul Smith upholstery and designer pendants. A recycled timber backrest and diamond support to the long banquette, reinforce the South African tribal theme.

A vibrant distressed timber block front counter was used to draw customers from the entrance.
