Nando’s Scarborough

Situated adjacent to the beach this Nando’s store design responds to seaside and leisure elements. The use of white washed chalk faced timbers and polished concrete floor is reminiscent of the beach and the rusted metal sheets all reinforce a nautical theme.

The pièce de résistance was the front counter comprising bold skateboards cut up into uneven pieces and reassembled in an abstract manner. Together with the installation of 15,000 bottle tops on the two internal columns, these two features generate customer interest as conversational pieces and further enhance the beach lifestyle vibe.
